White made her feature film debut in the 1962 drama, Advise & Consent, directed by Otto Preminger. She later appeared in various sitcoms, game shows, and more recently as a host on Saturday Night Live. White rose to stardom with her role as “Sue Ann Nivens” on They Mary Tyler Moore Show (1973-1977). She followed up with the role of “Rose Nylund” on The Golden Girls (1985-1992). Other notable shows include Hot in Cleveland, and Betty White’s Off Their Rockers.
