Ben Shapiro is an American political commentator, radio talk show host, columnist, and author. He founded the conservative news/opinion website ‘The Daily Wire’ in 2015. He’s published several books, including Primetime Propaganda (2011). Shapiro was born Benjamin Aaron Shapiro on January 15, 1984, in Los Angeles, California. He has three sisters and his father’s name is David. Shapiro attended Yeshiva University High School of Los Angeles. He skipped two grades and graduated in 2000 at age 16. He earned his BA degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (2004) and his JD from Harvard Law School (2007).

CAREER
Shapiro began his legal career at the law firm Goodwin Procter. He currently serves as president of his own consulting firm ‘Benjamin Shapiro Legal Consulting’ in Los Angeles. His firm works with major media clients. At age 17, Shapiro became the youngest nationally syndicated columnist in the U.S. His columns are featured in publications like Townhall, FrontPage Magazine, the Orlando Sentinel, and the Conservative Chronicle. He’s given lectures/speeches at a number of colleges, including the University of Missouri, Cal State LA, DePaul University, and The University of California, Berkeley.

Shapiro’s first book ‘Brainwashed: How Universities Indoctrinate America’s Youth’ was published in 2004 by WND Books. His other published works include Project President (2008), Primetime Propaganda (2011), The People vs. Barack Obama (2014) and True Allegiance (2016). He co-founded the conservative news/activism website ‘TruthRevolt’ alongside David Horowitz. He’s also a fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center. Shapiro is a columnist for Creators Syndicate. He served as editor-at-large of Breitbart News from 2012 to 2016. He’s the founder and editor-in-chief of The Daily Wire, a conservative news and opinion website. His conservative political podcast ‘The Ben Shapiro Show’ is ranked #2 on iTunes behind Oprah Winfrey.
