Bad Bunny is a Puerto Rican rapper and producer. Given name Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, he was born on March 10, 1994, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is characterized as being creative and versatile; writing most of his lyrics for songs produced. The stage name “Bad Bunny” was derived from an early childhood act of his. Supposedly, while in school, a picture was snapped of him dressed up as an angry bunny. He attended the University of Puerto Rico at Arecibo but left prematurely to pursue a music career. Bad Bunny worked with Venezuelan singer Nacho on “Bailame” remix and Young Martino on “I Do Not Care a F**k.” In recent work, Bad Bunny partnered with Natti Natasha releasing “Amantes de Una Noche.” The music video scored over 40 million views on YouTube in a week. Another notable single, “Krippy Kush” by Farruko, Nicki Minaj, and Bad Bunny featuring Travis Scott and Rvssian, is also making headlines. Bad Bunny recently collaborated with Jennifer Lopez on “Te Guste” and Drake on “Mia.” Collectively, they have garnered almost 500 million YouTube views in less than 2 months.
