AzChike is an American rapper from South Central, Los Angeles. He’s a member of AzCult along with AzSwaye and AzBenzz. You might know him from bangers like “Burn Rubber Again”, “Licked Up”, “Big Chop” and “Strapped Up.” Chike is currently signed to The Machine Works/Atlantic Records. His discography includes Rich & Ratchet (2019) and My World (2018). He’s worked with artists like 1TakeJay, Rucci, King Combs, and Mike Sherm among others.

Chike was born on July 28, 1995, in Los Angeles, California. He has two younger brothers. Though he grew up in South Central, he also lived in various cities across California (Long Beach, Compton, etc). Prior to music, Chike worked at Sprouts Farmers Market. He quit the job in 2015 after 8 months.

CAREER
AzChike began pursuing rap seriously in his late teens. He’s one-third of the music crew AzCult (formerly AzGang). The other members are AzBenzz and AzSwaye. Chike’s early drops include “Juggin”, “What I Do” and “Motion.” Early collab with Swaye includes “Ray Charles” and “Bag.” Chike’s first trip to SXSW was in Spring 2016. My World boasted production from Deuce Smoov, LowTheGreat, and a few others. Licked Up was blessed with an official music video in September 2018. It was directed IMGFilms. Chike appeared on 1TakeJay’s single “Bleed Em”, produced by BigLankOnTheTrack. 2018 also welcomed songs “Big Chop”, “The One” and “Tweaking” with Swaye. Chike made his Rolling Loud debut in December 2018. That year he also toured with Shoreline Mafia (Only The Xclusives Tour).

AzChike is currently signed to The Machine Works, a subsidiary of Atlantic Records. He was one of the first 2 artists signed to the label, the other being 1TakeJay. The Machine Works label is headed by TK Kimbro. They have a distribution deal with Asylum Records. In February 2019, Chike dropped his single “Strapped Up” featuring Mike Sherm and G-Bo Lean. He followed up with the EP ‘F#ckwaiting’ in August 2019. Chike’s debut album, Rich & Ratchet, arrived in September 2019. It boasted 14 tracks and featured guest appearances from Rucci, Swaye, 1TakeJay, and Kalan.FrFr.
