Arthur Miller was an American playwright and essayist known for works like ‘Death of a Salesman’, ‘The Crucible’ and ‘A View from the Bridge’. He graduated from the University of Michigan and later worked as a journalist and editor for the Michigan Daily. Miller was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1949, Kennedy Center Honors in 1984, Praemium Imperiale in 2001 and Jerusalem Prize in 2003. He died in 2005 from heart failure.
