Antonio Brown is an American professional football player who last played for the New England Patriots. He’s 5ft 10in tall and plays the wide receiver position. Prior to the Patriots, he played 9 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Brown was born on July 10, 1988, in Miami, Florida. His mother is Adrianne Moss, and his father, Eddie, is a former arena football offensive specialist. His younger brother Desmond played football running back for the Pittsburgh Panthers. Brown attended Miami Norland High School followed by North Carolina Tech Prep. He enrolled at Central Michigan University in 2007.

CAREER
Brown excelled at both football and track while at Miami Norland. He qualified twice for the state 100-meter sprint and helped the Norland to a 4×100 meter relay title. He started out playing various football positions such as running back, wide receiver and quarterback. Brown was a 2x Class 6A all-state selection. He spent a year at North Carolina Tech Prep where he passed for 1247 yards and 11 touchdowns. Brown continued his football career at Central Michigan in 2007. He earned First-Team All-American honors in 2008 and 2009. His college football record consists of 305 receptions, 3199 receiving yards, and 22 touchdowns.

Brown was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers with the 195th overall pick in the 2010 NFL draft. He wore the #84 jersey for motivation because it served as a constant reminder that he was a late-round pick. Brown made his Pro Bowl debut in 2011. He followed up with 3 consecutive Pro Bowl appearances from 2013 to 2015. Other honors by Brown include 2x First-team All-Pro and 2014 101 AFC Co-Offensive Player of the Year. He led the NFL in receiving yards in 2014 with 1,698.

In 2017, for the second time, Brown led the NFL in receiving yards with 1,533. The following year he was named NFL receiving touchdowns leader with 15 touchdowns. Brown played a total of 9 seasons with the Steelers from 2010 to 2018. He was traded to the Oakland Raiders in March 2019. In return, the Steelers received a 3rd and 5th round selection in the 2019 NFL draft. Brown was released by the Oakland Raiders before he had a chance to play any regular-season game. He was picked up by the New England Patriots but was cut from the roster after playing just one game.

In 2016, Brown competed on season 22 of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. His professional dance partner was Sharna Burgess. They finished the competition in 5th place. The title went to model Nyle DiMarco and his partner Peta Murgatroyd. Brown returned to the small screen in January 2019 as a contestant on Fox’s The Masked Singer. He wore a “Hippo” costume and performed the single “My Prerogative” (by Bobby Brown). He was eliminated in the first episode.
