Alexis Arquette was an American transgender actress, musician, and reality television star. She appeared in films like Last Exit to Brooklyn, The Wedding Singer, and Pulp Fiction. Arquette was born Robert Arquette on July 28, 1969, in Los Angeles, California. Her mother, Brenda, was a poet, and her father, Lewis, was an actor. She had four siblings, Rosanna, Richmond, Patricia, and David.

CAREER
Arquette landed her first acting role as a child in The Tubes 1982 music video for the single “She’s a Beauty”. She followed up with a small role in Down and Out in Beverly Hills (1986). Arquette played the role of “Georgette” in the 1989 drama flick, Last Exit to Brooklyn. Other early films include Jumpin’ at the Boneyard (1992) with Tim Roth, Pulp Fiction (1994) with John Travolta, and The Wedding Singer (1998) with Adam Sandler. She starred as “Eva Destruction” in the low-budget comedy, Killer Drag Queens on Dope (2003).

Arquette was featured as a celebrity guest on the sixth season of VH1’s The Surreal Life (2005). She played the role of “Larry” and “Lola” in the comedy-drama series, Beggars and Choosers (1999-2000). Other notable television shows include Felicity, Friends, and Californication. Arquette’s gender transition was the subject of the documentary, Alexis Arquette: She’s My Brother. The film made its debut at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2007.
