Alex Jones is an American radio host, film producer, author, and conspiracy theorist. He currently hosts The Alex Jones Show on the Genesis Communications Network. His film credits include Loose Change (2007), Endgame (2007), and The Obama Deception (2009). He’s also the head of the ‘InfoWars’ website and media platform. Alexander Emerick Jones was born on February 11, 1974, in Dallas, Texas. His father, David, is a dentist, and his mother, Carol, worked as a homemaker. He spent his childhood between Rockwall and Austin, Texas. Jones attended Anderson High School where he played football as a lineman. He studied at Austin Community College but dropped out before completing a degree.

CAREER
Jones began his career at the Austin Public Access TV station in Austin, Texas. He switched to radio in 1996 and became the host of ‘The Final Edition’ on KJFK-FM. Then politician, Ron Paul, was a regular guest on the show. Jones was fired from KJFK in 1999. This led him to online broadcasting and syndication. Jones currently hosts ‘The Alex Jones Show’ on the Genesis Communications Network (GCN). The program is broadcasted to more than 90 radio stations throughout the United States. The show attracts more than 2 million weekly listeners according to a 2010 Texas Monthly profile. Jones is a gun rights advocate. He famously claimed that “1776 will commence again if you try to take our firearms” during a 2013 debate with Piers Morgan.

Jones’ first documentary film, America Destroyed By Design, was released in 1998. Other films in his catalog include Terrorstorm: A History of Government Sponsored Terrorism (2006), Endgame: Blueprint for Global Enslavement (2007), and The Obama Deception: The Mask Comes Off (2009). He was an executive producer for Dylan Avery’s film series Loose Change (2005-09). Jones had small roles in the films Waking Life (2001) starring Wiley Wiggins and A Scanner Darkly (2006) with Keanu Reeves. He was the subject of the documentary, New World Order (2009), directed by Luke Meyer and Andrew Neel.

Jones is the owner of the ‘InfoWars’ website. His guests over the years include Charlie Sheen and Donald Trump. He is also the head of ‘NewsWars’ and ‘PrisonPlanet’. The ‘InfoWars’ YouTube channel was removed in August 2018. Apple and Facebook have also removed content relating to InfoWars. Jones is the author of 9-11: Descent Into Tyranny (2002) and The Answer to 1984 Is 1776 (2008). He’s currently working with Neil Strauss on a new book titled The Secret History of the Modern World & the War for the Future.
