Adam Driver is an American film, television, and stage actor. He co-starred as “Adam Sackler” in the HBO series Girls (2012-17), and as “Kylo Ren” in 2 Star Wars films. His credits include While We’re Young (2014), Hungry Hearts (2014), and the plays ‘Mrs. Warren’s Profession’ and ‘Angels in America’. Driver was born on November 19, 1983, in San Diego, California. His parents Joe Driver and Nancy Wright separated when he was young. He has an older sister named April. Driver grew up in Mishawaka, Indiana, where he attended Mishawaka High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Marines following the 9/11 terrorist attack. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Lance corporal. Driver attended the University of Indianapolis followed by the Juilliard School. He graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in drama.

Driver acted in a handful of plays during high school. His Broadway debut was a 2010 revival of George Bernard Shaw’s Mrs. Warren’s Profession. Driver’s breakout role was as “Adam Sackler” in the HBO series ‘Girls’. The show ran for 6 seasons from April 2012 to April 2017. His performance earned him three Primetime Emmy Award nominations for best supporting actor in a comedy series. Driver hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live in 2016. Driver’s big-screen debut was the biopic J. Edgar (2011) starring Clint Eastwood. He followed up with a small role in the comedy-drama, Frances Ha (2012).
