Aaron Gordon is an American professional NBA Player currently playing for the Denver Nuggets as a Forward. He was born on September 16, 1995, in San Jose, California. From an early age, Gordon demonstrated an immense passion for basketball. He attended Archbishop Mitty High school where he started for four consecutive years. Gordon led his school to two division II basketball championships while enrolled. Not only was he known locally, but Gordon was also big on the international level. He was also a member of the 2011 USA U16 national basketball team.

CAREER
In 2013, Aaron Gordon enrolled at the University of Arizona. Despite only playing one season in college, Gordon was named one of the 30 finalists for the Naismith College Player of the year. He also basked in the glory of being named Pac-12 Freshman Player of the year. In April 2014, Gordon declared for the NBA Draft.

Gordon was selected by the Orlando Magic with the fourth overall pick. After starting 11 games in that season, he was ruled out indefinitely due to a bone fracture in his foot. Gordon would return a few months later and posted his first double-double. In the coming year, he went on to post numerous double-doubles and career highs. In 2016, Gordon participated in the All-Star Weekend. He was runner up to Zach LaVine in the Slam Dunk Contest. He demonstrated his ability to dunk the ball with style and tenacity. Gordon was traded to the Denver Nuggets in March 2021.
